Here is the data from the 27th of November including my first real test of the 5hz QStarz Q1000. The sailing was done on the East bank that is noteable for the peak speed, but the flat water section is very short so cannot provide long runs. This particular day the water was a bit choppy early on which knocked some of the speed off, and the wind was quite gusty with very few gusts that lasted more than a couple of seconds. The results from the 3 GPS units are very close in the doppler with the Q1000 showing a 5x10 average of 40.366, and the two GT11s with 40.385 and 40.395. The track point data at 5hz is too jumpy so cannot be compared. |
